Hi, I started my business in April 2022 after realising I wanted it to be more then just a hobby. My passion for jewellery design started in my final years at school, where we did a craft session on silversmithing. I was also inspired by my sister who makes some beautiful pieces in her spare time. I am self taught and constantly learning. One of the things I love so much about commissions is that they have a tendency to push me out of my comfort zone to make something I wouldn’t usually think of. The personal touch to jewellery is one of the things (I think) that make it so very special.
The name ‘White Wave Designs’ has a lot of meaning to me as my name in welsh means ‘white wave’, so is firstly perfect for a water baby (me) but most importantly it is a tribute to my grandmother who was from wales. Without her and my grandad, none of this would be possible.
The sea is a huge source of inspiration for me; the flow of the waves, the colours that ripple continuously, and the sparkle of the sun on the surface of the water are all things that I find absolutely mesmerising.
Crystals are also very special to me and I firmly believe that you will be drawn towards certain gemstones that can help you.
